In mid-May, my close friends, Ruslan and Ann, got married. To make their wedding reception exceptional, they asked me to draw a 1-page comic illustrating their relationship. The key idea was decided to emphasize Ruslan’s signature phrase “coming right up!”, which he always says when Ann asks him for something. Since Ann and Ruslan love taking joint photos, I made up my mind to take one of their best shots for inspiration. It worked! As a result, my short comic was printed on the back of the wedding menu and all the 100 guests could enjoy my work of art.
